Privacy
The short version: we collect what you type into our forms, we use it to run the campaign, and we never sell it, rent it, or swap it with anyone. Ever.
Effective July 20, 2026
What we collect
When you send a note, sign up to volunteer, request a meeting, or join the email list, we keep what you give us: your name, email address, phone number if you share it, your neighborhood, and whatever you write in the note.
Like every website, our host keeps standard server logs. We do not run ad trackers, we do not use tracking cookies, and we do not follow you around the internet.
What we do with it
We use your information to answer you, schedule the thing you asked for, organize volunteer shifts, and send the weekly email if you signed up for it. We do not use it for anything else.
Donations are processed by ActBlue on their site, under their privacy policy. Colorado campaign finance law requires us to report contributions to the Denver Clerk and Recorder, and those reports are public records.
What gets published
This campaign publishes some things on purpose. If you request a meeting and you lobby, build, or hold a city contract, the meeting is posted within 48 hours of happening. That is the open calendar pledge and it is stated on the form before you submit. Notes about your block are only shared publicly if you check the box that says we can. Receipts name the businesses we paid, never the neighbors who wrote to us.
Who touches the data
Three vendors run parts of this site and handle data on our behalf: Cloudflare hosts the site and stores form submissions, MailerLite sends the email list, and ActBlue processes donations. Each operates under its own privacy policy. Beyond those vendors and the disclosures the law requires, your information does not leave the campaign. We never sell it, rent it, or swap it, with other campaigns, with PACs, or with data brokers.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that works the first time. If you want to know what we have about you, or want it deleted, write to jake@brownefordenver.com and we will do it.
Security and retention
We keep your information only as long as the campaign needs it and protect it with reasonable safeguards. When the campaign winds down, the lists get deleted, not sold.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date. We will not quietly weaken it.
